The Child Protection Unit at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, will be hosting their annual Forensic Medical Course – Medical Evaluation of Suspected Abuse in Children and Adolescents from Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th February 2026.
The Course will cover topics including
- forensic assessment of injuries
- medical neglect
- toxicology
- Child Sexual Assault history taking and assessment
- Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Fabricated or Induced Illness
- Vicarious trauma
- Export Report Writing and Giving Evidence and Psychosocial Aspects of Child Sexual Abuse.
