The Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) are hosting a seminar to give occupational hygienists and safety professionals the knowledge to effectively evaluate and control diesel emissions in the workplace.
The full day seminar will address key concepts for the recognition, evaluation and control of diesel emissions in workplaces. Session presenters Jen Hines and Brian Davies will focus on practical and relevant information across the following key areas:
- occurrence of diesel emissions
- health effects of diesel emissions
- exposure standards for emissions
- sampling and analytical methods
- control of diesel emissions exposure
- the future for diesel emissions
Included is a case study exercise and practical information to reinforce the major learning outcomes.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
