An in-depth guide to reducing stress and improving well-being. Transform yourself and your patients' lives with our in-depth guide to the health impact of mindfulness. This 8-weeks (1.5hrs per week live hybrid (face -to - face, virtual), and on-demand online) course offers practical techniques and resources to integrate mindfulness into daily life and enhance health outcomes.
Learning outcomes
- Describe how mindfulness generates awareness, reduces stress, and assists with pain
- Demonstrate mindfulness and meditation practices
- Implement mindfulness for health outcomes
- Measure impact using evidence-based anxiety and depression Kessler Distress Test (K10), and situation awareness self-assessment tools (CASA Aviation Safety Tool (IMSAFE acronym), AA (HALT acronym)
- Embrace self-compassion with critical reflection using Reflections on Calm Abiding Meditation, and Relationships Victoria Self-Reflection and Wellbeing
- Determine situations for mindfulness to reduce burnout and anxiety
