Join Prof Peter Wark and A/Prof Ralph Audehm for the national launch of Mastering Uncontrolled Asthma – a practical, outcomes-focused program designed to help physicians and primary care practitioners proactively identify patients with uncontrolled or severe asthma, optimise their management and recognise when specialist assessment is warranted.
This session will:
- identify hidden risk – OCS exposure, high-dose ICS, hospital interventions
- use practical EMR queries to identify/prioritise patients needing review
- optimise management – assess control, exacerbations, adherence and current treatment against best-practice care
- recognise when and whom to refer for specialist assessment
- explain the process and structure of the program
