Preventing the Preventable - Rethinking Paediatric Pneumococcal Disease
Date:
13 May 2026 at 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
The resurgence in invasive pneumococcal disease is driving rising hospitalisations and preventable morbidity in infants and young children. Despite improved vaccine access and higher-valent options, many children remain under-protected.
Led by an expert faculty, this session will clarify current recommendations, identify who remains at risk, and provide simple, repeatable strategies to support earlier protection.
With a strong focus on real-world application, the session will support clinicians to translate vaccine availability into consistent delivery in practice, reducing missed opportunities and improving timely protection.
Pending CPD Home accreditation for 8hrs including post-work.
