RACP LIFT Acute, population and complex care
Date:
20 Aug 2026 at 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location:
The Inchcolm Brisbane 73 Wickham Terrace Spring Hill QLD 4000 Australia
Standards of care are shifting. The patient landscape is changing as populations age. In many areas, the geographic landscape means care is dispersed and fragmented.
This Rapid-Fire Clinical Update brings together key issues in geriatric medicine, general and acute care medicine, Indigenous health, public health medicine and palliative care. We'll discuss the burden of care on our healthcare systems and physicians, and how we, as a physician community, can optimise care and outcomes for patients across all settings.
If you work with vulnerable populations, care for complex, high-risk adults, or practise in community or rural settings, this event is for you.
Highlights
Focus areas include:older adults with multimorbidity and frailty, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and those in rural and remote communities, populations already bearing the health burden of climate change, and patients with advanced, life-limiting illness.
