The Perinatal Epidemiology Group at The University of Melbourne is developing the Systematic Analysis of Evidence (SAFE) Pregnancy Platform, an online resource that will rapidly translate high-quality evidence on the short- and long-term impacts of common pregnancy exposures, including:

  • medications
  • maternal conditions
  • obstetric events

The platform is being co-designed with pregnant women and maternity care clinicians and aims to:

  • make up-to-date evidence easily accessible to women and their care teams
  • support shared, evidence-based decision-making in pregnancy care.

We are currently recruiting physicians involved in maternity care to participate in our co-design process. Participation may involve one or more of the following activities:

  • A short, one-to-one interview (30 to 60 minutes)
  • A co-design workshop (around 1.5 hours)
  • Prototype and user-testing sessions of the SAFE Platform once it is designed (each around 1 to 1.5 hours)

You can choose to participate in as many or as few activities as you wish. Sessions will be offered at flexible times and can be conducted online. As recognition of your time and expertise, participants will receive reimbursement of $86 an hour.

If you are interested in participating in this exciting co-design project, please do not hesitate to register using the link provided. Or, if you would like to hear more information about the project before registering, contact Gabriel via email at gabriel.hellerensimpson.1@unimelb.edu.au
