IIC Perth is a clinical training course in childhood infectious diseases based on the ESPID-Oxford concept. Perth is the only place in the southern hemisphere providing this popular course.

There will be the opportunity to participate in interactive cases and a hotly contested debate round.

Topics will include

  • global health
  • immunisation
  • clinical care
  • cardiac focus
  • medically at risk - host and infection
  • embedding research in clinical care
  • challenging infection cases

Attendees are invited to attend a dinner and screening of the documentary Kuru: The Science and Sorcery  on Thursday 5 December at Matilda Bay outdoor cinema, with an introduction from Professor Michael Alpers.
