This webinar will cover findings on four different rare injury surveillance will be presented and include: near-drowning, seat belt injury, trampoline park injury and severe injury related to disc battery.
Presented by Dr Carlos Nunez. Carlos joined the APSU in 2018 before completing his PhD on cancer epidemiology at the University of Sydney. Carlos is a Research Associate at the APSU, managing the non-infectious research portfolio.
Currently, Carlos’ research interests include the understanding of causes, risk factors and the burden of rare paediatric diseases in order to contribute to policy relevant epidemiological evidence in paediatric health care services.
