The Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre welcomes you to the Turning the Tide for Birth and Breastfeeding 2025 conference in beautiful Warrnambool, Victoria.
Join us for an enriching 2-day program filled with learning, set against the stunning backdrop of our beach location.
This conference will unite healthcare professionals, lactation consultants, birth workers, and advocates to explore the latest developments in maternal and infant health.
The 2025 event focuses on turning the tide toward improved outcomes for mothers and babies.
Conference highlights
- Professor Lisa Amir (General Practitioner and Lactation Consultant) – 25 years of research in mastitis
- Melanie Briggs (Gumbayngirr Dharawal Descendant and Endorsed Midwife) – Birthing on Country for First Nations families
- Dr. Amber Hart (GP and IBCLC) – Tongue tie research and infant low weight gain
- Nancy Mohrbacher (IBCLC and Author) – Supporting the transition to direct breastfeeding after bottle and shield use
- Ranmali Rodrigo (Consultant Neonatologist, IBCLC, Head of Mercy Health Breast Milk Bank) – Neo-BFHI and promoting human milk feeding in the NICU
