The call for nominations for College positions – results announced

The recent call for nominations for the next RACP President-Elect, Directors on the College Board, and various positions on Division and Faculty Councils and the New Zealand and Chapter Committees closed on Friday, 2 February 2018.

More than one nomination was received for each of the following positions, therefore an election will be held.

RACP President-Elect - three candidates were nominated

• Associate Professor Sue Moloney
• Professor Judy Savige
• Professor John Wilson

Three (3) Board Director positions to be filled by Fellows or trainees – ​seven candidates were nominated.

• Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor Ian Fraser
• Dr Timothy Geraghty
• Professor Paul Komesaroff
• Dr Jacqueline Small
• Dr Tristam Smyth

The election process will commence on Monday, 5 March. Further details about the process and candidate information will be sent to all Fellows and trainees prior to elections commencing.

The following positions received only one nomination therefore are filled without the need for an election.
