Discover the GenMed Map: a new way to explore training opportunities

The new GenMed Horizons Map is an interactive dashboard that makes it easier to explore General and Acute Care Medicine (GACM) Advanced Training opportunities and plan rotations and career pathways across Australia.
The Map enables you to locate opportunities by State or Territory, CORE training category, subspecialty rotations available to GACM Advanced Trainees, and regional and rural locations.
It also provides a broader view of the GACM training landscape, helping identify training gaps, inform funding and workforce planning, and monitor workforce reform initiatives aligned with the RACP’s commitment to regional, rural and remote workforce priorities.
The GenMed Horizons Map is an important first step towards better understanding training opportunities and workforce needs, with potential to expand this approach across adult and paediatric Advanced Training in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
