Description
As a member of the committee, you'll be involved in operational matters as referred to in the Advanced Training Committee in Dermatology Terms of Reference (PDF).
Time requirements are attendance for 2-3 hour face-to-face meetings, pre-meeting assessment of trainee paperwork and additional time required for out of session email training decisions.
You may also be required, on occasion, to undertake Site Accreditation Visits and mark Advanced Training Research Projects.
Members are appointed to the Committee for a 3-year term, with the option to renew for a further term.
Key responsibilities
- sign off for training approval/certification of Dermatology Advanced Trainees
- work with the curriculum team in advance of the new curricula rollout for Dermatology Advanced Training in 2027
- attend accreditation site visits
- Advanced Training Research Project marking
- review of Training Support cases outside of committee meetings
