  • Allocate reading time for agendas and papers which are circulated approximately 1-2 weeks before each Subcommittee meeting
  • Be flexible and willing to support the rollout and implementation of the new accreditation program and accreditation of training settings and its Paediatrics & Child Health Basic Training Program.
  • Contribute to accreditation reviews by attending Site Visits (physically/virtually) as a Regional Rural and Remote Accreditor, completing Progress Report reviews and Document Reviews of Settings and their Basic Training Paediatrics & Child Health program.
  • Contribute to joint discussions and decision-making on the accreditation of training settings which offer Adult Internal Medicine and Paediatrics & Child Health Basic Training Programs.
  • Complete accreditation-related activities, with guidance and continued communication with the Training Accreditation Services team.

Members are appointed for an initial term of 3 years, with the option to renew for a further term.

The role as a Subcommittee Member is a voluntary position. However, to support and thank you for your contributions towards Accreditation, you'll receive CPD Points for the completed activities. In addition, all relevant travel, meals and accommodation costs for attending face-to-face Subcommittee meetings and any site visits are covered by the College, in accordance with the RACP Travel Policy and Guidelines (PDF).
