We’re excited to launch our new Wellbeing Advocates webpage – which brings together practical tools, inspiring member stories, and expert insights to help you flourish both professionally and personally.
Whether you’re looking for ways to support wellbeing in your workplace or strategies to care for yourself, we're here to support you.
On the new page, you’ll find:
- Insights from Wellbeing Advocates – practical tips and insights from Dr Susannah Ward and Dr David Beaumont.
- Practical Resources & Guides – tools and techniques to boost wellbeing in your workplace and beyond.
- Webinars & Courses – like Introduction to Chief Wellness Officers and Practical Interventions for Individuals and Organisations.
- Key RACP & External Initiatives – programs and strategies to help you create healthier, more supportive workplaces.
The College is also developing a Wellbeing Advocates Program to raise awareness and drive cultural change in physician training environments across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
A key part of this program is the Wellbeing Webinar Series, which showcases local and international leaders in physician wellbeing. So far, the series has featured:
- Introduction to Chief Wellness Officers – with Dr Bethan Richards and other Chief Wellness Officers across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, highlighting the importance of supported leadership in wellbeing.
- Practical Wellbeing Interventions at a Local Level – with Assocaite Professor Jon Chan and Wellbeing Advocates sharing examples of supporting colleagues and system-level change.
- Practical Interventions for Individuals and Organisations – featuring Dr Anne Frankl and Dr Alexandra Muthu, who shared practical strategies to support individual and workplace wellbeing.
