The College Learning Series, an untapped source of knowledge and professional development

The College Learning Series, commonly known as CLS, is an interactive online educational resource focused on the learning needs of Basic Trainees.
The library offers resources across 2 streams: Adult Medicine and Paediatrics and Child Health. It's free for all RACP members.
While designed for RACP Trainees, the CLS’ reach goes beyond Trainees and is an excellent resource for knowledge uplift and professional development for all RACP members.
Developed by experts, shaped for members
You'll find over 300 lectures developed and reviewed by more than 400 RACP Fellows, mapped against College curricula, across Adult Medicine and Paediatrics and Child Health.
Working in consultation and alongside committees and member groups, the CLS team ensures content is accurate, relevant and useful. They also actively seek advice and contributions from Trainees to ensure it reflects real and changing training needs.
Ongoing reviews
CLS lectures and resources are produced for educational use to support learning. The CLS complements Trainees' overall learning experience — it isn't an exhaustive library of everything required for physician training.
CLS lectures and resources undergo a strict process of review and continuous improvement to ensure currency and alignment to curricula. Lectures are mapped to the Basic Training Knowledge Guides and are clinically reviewed before publishing.
Each lecture notes the date of recording and the date of the next review.

While we recommend spending some time browsing your relevant library, most of us love a shortcut! You can find links to the current lectures for both Adult Medicine and Paediatrics and Child Health on the CLS homepage.
CLS lectures offer CPD hours
You can record your CLS learning for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Just click 'Add activity to MyCPD' option in the top right of the lecture screen.
Are you a trainee on interruption of Training?
Interrupted Training means taking an absence from your training rotations for more than 8 weeks consecutively in a training year. If your interruption reaches 6 months or more, you'll also need to nominate a CPD Home to continue meeting your Continuing Professional Development requirements. You may be exempt if your interruption is due to parental or carer leave, serious illness, or other approved circumstances.
