Waikato cardiologist, Professor Martin Stiles, has spent more than 20 years at the forefront of heart health. His expertise has not only restored lives but also powered elite sporting careers including those of Olympic gold medallists, Waikato rower Rob Waddell and Gisborne kayaker Alicia Hoskin.
 
His pioneering research in cardiac electrophysiology, atrial fibrillation, and sudden cardiac arrest is gaining well-deserved recognition and it’s making an impact far beyond the clinic.
