Overview
TRELLiS is designed to improve your everyday interactions with the College. While you won’t see a dramatic overnight change, you’ll gradually find that engaging with us becomes simpler, more predictable and connected
What's changing?
These are some practical examples of changes you’re likely to notice over time, based on real work already underway.
Understanding what you need to do
Today
Whether you’re starting training, completing CPD or joining a committee, it can be difficult to know what you actually need to do. Information is available, but it’s not always easy to understand.
Future
Information becomes clearer and more relevant. For example:
- MyRACP highlights your key tasks
- simple navigation helps you find the information you need
- requirements and processes are clearly stepped out
Contacting the College with a question
Today
Enquiries can involve multiple emails or calls, and it may not be clear what’s happening. Even straightforward requests can require follow-up.
Future
Enquiries become easier to track and view. Over time, you'll see:
- a single, traceable enquiry
- easy-to-understand status updates
- clear ownership by staff
Paying fees
Today
Fee payment can be inconsistent, with different options depending on the context, and limited visibility of your payment history.
Future
Fee payment will be more consistent and transparent. Changes include:
- clearer payment options
- easy access to invoices, receipts and history in one place
- more predictable handling of refunds or payment issues
Providing information about yourself
Today
You may be asked for the same information more than once, or see inconsistencies across interactions.
Future
Your information is consistent and correct. For example:
- information is provided once and reused appropriately
- your roles are used correctly
- updates to your details are applied consistently
Receiving communications from us
Today
Communications may feel irrelevant or poorly timed, and critical information can be missed.
Future
You receive information that’s useful and relevant to you. This could look like:
- clearer distinction between essential and optional messages
- ability to choose which communications you receive
- fewer “why did I get this?” moments
Dealing with issues
Today
When things go wrong, it can be unclear how issues will be escalated or resolved.
Future
Issues are handled consistently and transparently. Changes include:
- clearer pathways for resolution
- better visibility of progress
- stronger accountability
Things to consider
TRELLiS aims to make things easier, but there will always be professional and regulatory complexity.
We can’t make every process simple or uniform. Instead, we’ll focus on reducing the unnecessary effort that’s layered on top of the complexity.
What doesn’t change? Your fees. These will not increase to pay for TRELLiS.
How progress will be judged
Success won’t be measured by how much changes technically. It will be judged by whether, over time, you experience:
- clearer interactions
- more consistent support
- less effort to achieve the same outcomes
- greater confidence that issues will be managed effectively
If you don’t experience these changes, we haven’t succeeded.
