Learning Outcomes Development Guide

This provides guidance on developing clear and measurable learning outcomes for CPD activities. It helps you align your activities with CPD categories and Minimum Activity Standards, and ensure they are relevant, high-quality, and support meaningful learning for participants.

Minimum Activity Standards Checklist

Helps you confirm that your CPD activity meets the RACP Minimum Activity Standards required for recognition. It should be completed and submitted with the Activity Recognition Submission Form, noting that all mandatory standards must be met for an activity to be eligible.

CAPE Alignment Matrix

This helps you identify whether your CPD activity aligns with one or more CAPE domains: Cultural Safety, Addressing Health Inequities, Professionalism, and Ethical Practice. It should be completed when claiming CAPE relevance in your Activity Recognition Submission and helps practitioners identify activities that may support their annual CAPE requirements.

Recognised Activity Table Template

Provides a standard format for describing CPD activities once they are recognised by the RACP. It helps ensure activity details; CPD category classification, CAPE alignment, and evidence requirements are presented clearly and consistently for publication in the CPD Recognised Activity Catalogue.

Evidence Requirements Guide

Outlines the types of evidence providers should specify for recognised CPD activities. It helps you define clear evidence requirements for participants, support audit readiness, and ensure each recognised activity includes at least one acceptable form of evidence.

Participation Certificate Template

Sets out the required information that must be included on certificates issued for recognised CPD activities. It helps you ensure certificates are complete, audit-ready, and suitable for participants to retain as evidence of participation.

Post-Activity Provider Reporting Template

This is an optional quality assurance tool that can be used after a recognised CPD activity has been delivered. It helps you report on activity delivery, participant experience, CAPE alignment, and ongoing compliance with the Minimum Activity Standards.

Annual Review and Revalidation Questionnaire

Support the annual review of recognised CPD activities to confirm they remain current, evidence-based, and aligned with the Minimum Activity Standards, CPD categories, and CAPE claims. It must be completed by providers who wish to maintain recognition status for their activities.

Provider Self-Audit Tool

This allows you to check whether your recognised CPD activities continue to meet RACP requirements. It supports continuous improvement, risk management, and preparation for formal RACP review, revalidation, or audit.

These resources support efficient application and ongoing compliance.

Summary
