Join us for the third webinar in our four-part 2026 Wellbeing Advocates series, Workplace Wellbeing: Speaking Up and Building a Culture of Psychological Safety, on Thursday, 17 September 2026 from 4pm to 5pm (AEST).

This free online event will explore psychological safety from both individual and organisational perspectives, and provide practical strategies to support safer, healthier and more inclusive environments. It will highlight how individuals can confidently speak up and the actions leaders and teams can take to address inappropriate or disrespectful behaviours that may impact wellbeing and team culture.

The interactive session will be led by Dr Susannah Ward, Chair, Member Health and Wellbeing Committee (MHWC), and Dr David Beaumont, Deputy Chair, MHWC. They will be joined by Dr Barbara Rysenbry, Registered Clinical Psychologist and Facilitation Lead, Umbrella Wellbeing (NZ), and Dr George Eskander, GP and Chief Clinical Operating Officer, WA Health.

Together, they will share insights and practical approaches for strengthening psychological safety, including strategies for speaking up, supporting respectful communication and creating workplaces where teams can thrive.

The webinar will run for approximately one hour and will conclude with a Q&A session, providing participants with an opportunity to reflect on how the strategies discussed can be applied in everyday practice.

The session will be recorded for members who are unable to attend live.

As a member benefit, RACP Fellows who attend the webinar will have their participation recorded in their RACP MyCPD portal. Participants may also claim CPD hours for other relevant webinars and courses.
