Announcement regarding print issues of College journals

Date published:

There are important publishing changes announced by Wiley, the publisher of the two peer reviewed College journals: the Internal Medicine Journal and the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health

Wiley is considering how best to manage disruptions to its publishing operations and workflow during the Covid-19 pandemic. Wiley’s vendor-partners are now working from home and country-wide lockdowns are occurring.

The most acute current challenge is in the distribution of print content. In competition with the global prioritisation of air freighted medical supplies, distribution of print materials is being progressively suspended. Hence Wiley has decided to suspend all printing and distribution of journal issues until further notice.
