Looking for the next Aotearoa New Zealand President-elect
Expressions of interest are open to all Aotearoa New Zealand Fellows for the position of Aotearoa New Zealand President-elect 2026-2028.
The Aotearoa New Zealand President-elect serves a 2-year term. If the Board approves the appointment mid-cycle, the term will run from that approval date to the end of the current Aotearoa New Zealand President's tenure, the May 2028 AGM.
The President-elect then becomes Aotearoa New Zealand President at that AGM, for a further 2 years. In that role, they also Chair the Aotearoa New Zealand Committee and sit on the RACP Board as a Director.
As President-elect, you'll work collaboratively with the Aotearoa New Zealand President and the Aotearoa New Zealand Committee to guide the governance and direction of the College in Aotearoa New Zealand, consistent with the Aotearoa New Zealand Committee By-law.
