Policy Governance and Review

This section explains how CPD program policies are governed, approved, and reviewed. Clear governance arrangements support consistency, accountability, and confidence in CPD program policies.

Policy governance framework

CPD Program policies are developed and maintained within the College’s formal governance framework.

This includes:

  • Defined policy ownership
  • Review by relevant internal stakeholders
  • Oversight by the CPD Committee
  • Legal review by the College’s in-house legal team

Policy approval and review

Policies are:

  • Approved through formal College approval processes
  • Reviewed periodically to ensure they remain current and relevant
  • Updated as required to reflect changes to CPD requirements, program design, or regulatory expectations

Version control and currency

The College maintains version control to ensure that:

  • The most current policy version is available
  • Updates are clearly identified
  • Superseded versions are managed appropriately

Using CPD program policies

CPD participants and providers should:

  • Refer to the most current policy documents
  • Use policies alongside supporting guidance and tools
  • Rely on formal policy documents where authoritative clarification is required
